Program Introduction
Dental ED Global – Olmos Master Class Series 2026
Dental ED Global is proud to present the Olmos Master Class Series, an advanced educational program designed to address one of the most complex and increasingly prevalent challenges facing modern dentistry: chronic cranio-orofacial pain, temporomandibular disorders (TMD), and sleep breathing disorders (SBD), including obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
Many clinicians encounter patients suffering from facial pain, headaches, bruxism, airway problems, and sleep-related breathing disorders, yet these conditions are often misunderstood, fragmented across medical disciplines, or treated symptomatically rather than systematically. This program introduces dentists to a structured clinical protocol developed by Dr. Olmos, which has been implemented in treatment centres across multiple countries and integrates dentistry, medicine, and neuromuscular science into a comprehensive treatment model.
The series provides clinicians with a clear diagnostic and treatment framework for identifying the complex interactions between airway dysfunction, craniofacial pain, occlusion, neurology, and musculoskeletal function. Participants will learn how these conditions frequently coexist and how proper evaluation and treatment planning can significantly improve patient outcomes.
Through a series of focused presentations, the program will guide clinicians through the complete clinical pathway, from patient triage and comprehensive examination to diagnosis, treatment protocols, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The curriculum explores critical areas such as:
- The relationship between sleep breathing disorders and craniofacial pain
- Comprehensive clinical examination protocols for TMD and OSA
- The neurological and physiological mechanisms behind bruxism, headaches, and chronic pain
- Modern diagnostic technologies including CBCT, MRI, and Joint Vibration Analysis
- Clinical evaluation of the autonomic nervous system and musculoskeletal injuries
- Evidence-based approaches to oral appliance therapy, decompression appliance therapy, and airway management
- Integration of nutrition, systemic health, orthodontics, and prosthodontics in long-term patient care
Each session is supported by detailed written materials, including clinical diagrams, flowcharts, and treatment forms, enabling clinicians to implement the protocols and systems presented during the program directly into their practices.
The goal of the Olmos Master Class Series is not simply to provide theoretical knowledge, but to equip clinicians with practical diagnostic strategies and treatment protocols that allow them to confidently manage patients suffering from chronic craniofacial pain and sleep breathing disorders.
By the end of the program, participants will have a deeper understanding of the biological, neurological, and functional mechanisms underlying these conditions, and will be able to apply a systematic clinical approach to diagnosis, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary patient management.
This program reflects Dental ED’s ongoing commitment to providing advanced clinical education that bridges dentistry with broader health sciences, empowering clinicians to expand the scope of care they can deliver while improving the quality of life for patients suffering from complex craniofacial and airway-related conditions.
